Animal Rescue Experience
- Active in placement homeless and abandoned cats in Wildwood Florida. Also, act as a resource for the TNR of
ferals in the community. Provide temporary haven for misplaced cats due to cat owner transitions. Promote
and educate the community in the human treatment of cats using resources such as the radio, newsletters (Wildwood Mews), local
newspaper, Web site, (Calicomuse.com). (Present -2006)
“Metro Cats” founder of Metro Cats in San Jose California – directed the placement of homeless and abandoned
cats. Active in the TNR of feral cats, rescue and placement of homeless cats. Placement of between
twenty five to fifty cats per year. (1998 – 2006)
Creator and publisher of quarterly newsletter, “Wildwood Mews”, a quarterly published newsletter to promote
and educate the community in the human treatment of cats; provide useful care and behavior tips, provide a muse for animal
lovers and to support and encourage cat rescue groups.
